The school once again waved its banner of excellence by achieving 97.14 per cent passing rate where students obtained at least three credits and above.
According to the media, the results of the 'O' level made St. John's School rank first among the schools in Brunei.
Zafirah Amalina Zulkipli obtained 10 'O' level with eight Grade A* (star signifies that mark is 90 per cent and above), 1 Grade A and 1C putting her in the list of top achievers in the country.
Also, the following students made the school proud: Abdul Hafiz Mohd Jamil and Hjh Nurul Filzah Zahirah Hj Abdul Muhaimin who both successfully secured 10 straight 'O's, Lau Hul Juan (Janny) with 6 Grade A*, 2 A and 1C , Myeka Abu Trinidad with 2 A*, 3 A's 2 B's. Joining them in the list of top achievers were Marzarianey Metali, with 9 'O's, Afifah Abd Latiff and Kho Jia Hui (Francesca) with 8 'O's. While, Muhammad Saiful Yadiy Mazri, Ryan Thomas Sing Sekhon, Muhd Syafiq Osman, Ainsley Kaye Atienza Nirona, Nor Qawiematul Ariff Md Ariffin, Nurul Aziemah Jamal, Nurul Syafinaz Zaini and Sekarkhansa Nurshabrina all managed to obtain 7 'O's.
"This is a very good achievement for our school where we hone our students in a way that they will succeed in the future. St. John's will continue to soar up high as we work in unity based on our motto 'Service and Love',"
